INGREDIENTS
- 4 QF Quality Food protein wraps
- 1 can Casa del Sur Black Beans
- 2 tablespoons Chili Con Carne Casa del Sur spices
- 100 ml Casa del Sur Taco Sauce
- 250 g lean ground beef
- 100 g of cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 1 white onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons of canned corn
- 3 tablespoons of oil for frying
A METHOD OF PREPARING
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and garlic, and sauté over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add drained black beans and corn, season with chili con carne, and stir.
- Add the taco sauce and cook for a few more minutes, until the filling thickens slightly. Set aside to cool.
- On half of each wrap, sprinkle some cheese, top with the meat filling, and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Fold the wraps in half.
- Place the quesadillas in a dry, hot pan and toast on both sides until the cheese melts and the wraps are golden brown and crispy.
- Cut the finished quesadillas into triangles and serve immediately.
Tip:
To ensure the quesadilla slices smoothly and doesn't fall apart, wait 1-2 minutes after removing it from the pan before cutting it into triangles.
